:: Advancement Office releases video series

The Antioch College Advancement Office has been working since Reunion 2012 to put together a series of videos called the "My Antioch Story" series. You might have seen these videos being recorded in the video booth with various alumni throughout Reunion 2012.

The alumni in the videos each share a unique story from their days at Antioch and then share some reasons why they donate to the College.

Here are the first two videos from the series, featuring James Hobart '58 and Tanya Mink '65.

:: Dean of Admission and Financial Aid job posted

Antioch College has officially posted a job opening for the dean of admission and financial aid on the website's employment page.

Cezar O. Mesquita announced on June 12 that he is stepping down from his position as dean of admission and financial aid, effective July 25.

Mesquita is leaving to accept a position in the admissions office at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho.

President Mark Roosevelt has announced an immediate search for a dean of admission and financial aid. Inquiries should be sent to Joyce Morrissey, assistant to the president and manager of special projects, at

:: Student pool passes

The village of Yellow Springs and Antioch College want students to be able to cool off at Gaunt Park Pool. So all students are eligible for FREE PASSES for the summer.

You must fill out paperwork and turn it in to Louise Smith in order to get your pass. The pool is open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with adult swim from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. daily. Weekend hours are noon to 8:00 p.m.

Watch your mailboxes for forms and return them to Louise in her mailbox in South Hall. (Be sure to fill out both sides.) You will not be charged! The College will provide the passes in collaboration with the village.
