Marc Wilson Ruben ' 72 died on September 9, 2010.
Born in 1949 in Chicago and raised in Washington, PA, Marc Ruben was a man of many dimensions. At various times a cab driver in Cambridge, Mass.; graduate of Antioch College; a dedicated sports fan who criedthe night the Red Sox finally won the World Series; an award winning Project Manager for Unisys; reading to his sons every night; Interim Director of the Washtenaw JCC;a lover of old war films, John Wayne, classic cars and planes; a pioneer who launched a computer repair company in the early '80s; the list goes on.
Though he wore many hats throughout his life, the one he never took off was that of a caring father and friend. Always at the ready with a helping hand and a wisecrack or two, he was a kind and gentle soul whose memory will live on in those who knew him.
He is survived by his sons Sam and Jacob.
